Online Tick Counter: A Tally Clicker

Search “tick counter” or “tickcounter” and you usually want a tally clicker, not a clock. FlashKit’s tick counter is that: named cards, a large number, minus, plus, and reset. Counts persist in this browser’s localStorage (key rakko-tick-counters). There is no account, no room code, and no cloud sync. Two phones do not share a tally.
Tick counter versus timer
A “tick” here is a click, not a clock tick. Need elapsed time? Use Timer (countdown) or Count-up timer. There is no sound, no LED wall display, no Bluetooth hardware clicker, and no POS. If you need a random order of names instead of a count, use the random picker.

Named counters, + / − / reset. Saved in this browser only.
Open the tick counterWorked examples
- Inventory. Title “Aisle 3”. Tap + per box. Over-tap once, hit −. Reset at the end of the aisle. Add a second counter titled “Damaged” on the same page — the two numbers stay independent.
- Workout. One counter per exercise, + per rep, reset between sets.
- Door count. One counter per entrance. Totals are not added together automatically.
Screenshot or copy the number if it has to leave this device. Switching phones, another browser profile, or “clear site data” for FlashKit wipes the tallies. That is expected.
Frequently asked questions
What is a tick counter?
A tally clicker: each tap adds one to a running count. This page does that in your browser. It does not measure time and does not sync to other phones.
Is TickCounter a timer?
No. It counts events, not seconds. Use Timer or Count-up timer for elapsed time.
Will refresh keep my count?
Yes on this device, until you clear site data for FlashKit. The numbers live in localStorage, not on a FlashKit server.
