Meta tag generator
Fill in the title, description, canonical URL, and social image. The page writes a head snippet you can paste into a static site, CMS, or prerender template. Nothing is sent to FlashKit.
Google still rewrites titles and snippets. Treat 50–60 character titles and ~155 character descriptions as a starting point, then verify in Search Console. Keyword meta tags are omitted on purpose — they are not a 2026 ranking lever.
How to Use
- Write a unique title that names the page, not just the brand.
- Summarize the click reason in the description. Stay under ~155 characters.
- Set a self-referencing https canonical and an absolute OG image (1200×630).
- Copy the snippet into the HTML head. After deploy, check it with the Open Graph debugger and a site audit.
Key Features
- Live character counts for title and description
- OG + Twitter tags from the same fields
- Robots presets for index / noindex
- Entirely local — no FlashKit storage
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this make my page rank #1?
No. Tags help crawlers and click-through. Rankings still depend on crawlability, content, links, and search intent.
Why are keyword meta tags missing?
Google has ignored keyword meta tags for years. Adding a stuffed list does not help and can look like leftover doorway markup.
Do I still need prerendering?
Yes for SPAs. If tags are injected only after JavaScript, Facebook and first-wave Google often see the default index.html. FlashKit’s own tool pages use build-time HTML shells for that reason.
