UTM campaign URL builder
UTM parameters tell Analytics which poster, QR, email, or ad sent the click. This builder appends standard utm_* keys to a URL you already control. FlashKit does not host redirects or show reports.
Use lowercase and hyphens. “QR-Menu” and “qr-menu” become two campaigns. After you copy the URL, generate a static QR so print stays trackable without an expiring short link.
How to Use
- Paste the exact https landing page (include the path you want people to open).
- Set source (qr-menu, newsletter), medium (offline, email, cpc), and campaign (spring-launch).
- Optional: term for paid keywords, content for A/B creatives (table-tent vs window-sticker).
- Copy the URL. Test it once. Then encode it with the QR generator before you print.
Key Features
- Standard Google Analytics / GA4 parameter names
- Preserves existing query strings on the landing URL
- Local only — we do not log campaigns
- Designed to feed a static, non-expiring QR
Frequently Asked Questions
Does FlashKit track the clicks?
No. Your analytics property does. We only concatenate query parameters in this tab.
Can I change the destination after printing a QR?
Not unless the URL itself redirects. Point the QR at a page you control if you need to swap the offer later.
What if I already have UTM tags on the URL?
The builder overwrites matching utm_* keys and keeps other query parameters.
