Password generator
Passwords are built in this tab from the character sets you enable (upper, lower, numbers, symbols). Nothing is posted to FlashKit. Close the tab when you are done if you are on a shared computer.
Length matters more than clever substitutions. 16+ mixed characters is a solid default for new accounts. Prefer a password manager over reusing the same string. This page uses the browser’s Math.random helper — fine for everyday accounts, not a replacement for a dedicated security module or hardware token.
How to Use
- Set length. Use at least 16 for new logins; 20+ for email, banking, or admin panels.
- Enable uppercase, lowercase, and numbers. Turn on symbols if the site accepts them.
- Click generate until you have a string you can store in a manager.
- Copy it once, paste into the password manager, and do not email it to yourself.
Key Features
- Runs entirely in the current tab
- Adjustable length and character classes
- One-click copy
- No account and no server-side password log
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you store generated passwords?
No. Generation never leaves the browser. We cannot recover a password you forgot to copy.
Is this cryptographically secure?
It is a convenient local generator, not an audit of your threat model. For high-value vaults, use a reputable password manager’s generator (usually Web Crypto or OS CSPRNG).
Why do some sites reject the password?
A few forms ban certain symbols or cap length. Turn symbols off or shorten the string, then store the exact value you registered.
Should I use this for Wi-Fi or SSH keys?
You can generate a Wi-Fi passphrase here. SSH keys should still be created with ssh-keygen or your manager’s key tool.
