Favicon and app icon generator

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I still need a .ico file?

Modern browsers accept PNG favicons. Include a 32×32 PNG (and a manifest) unless you must support ancient IE.

Why does the 16×16 icon look blurry?

You cannot recover detail that never existed. Design a dedicated 16px glyph for dense marks.
