Add header and footer to a PDF

The tool opens your PDF in the browser with pdf-lib and draws header/footer text (and optional page numbers) on each page. The file is not uploaded to FlashKit.

This is for letterheads, invoice numbers, and “Page X of Y” — not a full design editor. Encrypted or heavily compressed PDFs can fail. Keep a copy of the original.

How to Use

  1. Select a PDF from your device. Encrypted files may not open.
  2. Enter header and/or footer text. Enable page numbers if you need them.
  3. Preview the first page if the UI offers it, then apply the stamp.
  4. Download the new PDF. Compare page count with the original before you send it.

Key Features

  • Client-side pdf-lib processing
  • Headers, footers, and page numbers
  • No FlashKit file storage
  • Works without installing a desktop PDF suite

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this flatten forms or signatures?

Stamping can affect interactive forms or some signed files. Test a copy. For legal signatures, use a dedicated signing workflow.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. Bytes stay in the tab. Very large files can exhaust mobile memory.

Can I add a logo image in the header?

The current tool is text-oriented. For a logo-heavy letterhead, compose the PDF in a layout tool, then use this page for page numbers only.
