SIP Calculator India: 5-Year and 10-Year Corpus Estimates (2026)
“How much will a ₹10,000 SIP become in 10 years?” is a compounding question, not a product recommendation. The future value of a monthly SIP (ordinary annuity, monthly compounding of the assumed annual rate) is what FlashKit’s India SIP calculator estimates. Markets can deliver more or less. SEBI-registered advisors exist for a reason; a browser widget is not one.
What to enter
- Monthly investment: the amount you can continue through a bad year, not the amount you wish you could invest.
- Expected annual return: an assumption. Equity-oriented funds have published long-run averages; they are not a contract. Many educators show a 10% or 12% illustration and an 8% stress case.
- Years: 5 and 10 are the two tenures people actually type. Run both.
Estimate a SIP corpus
Monthly amount, assumed return, years. Invested vs gain. Local only — not SEBI advice.

₹10,000 a month at an assumed 10% annual return:
- 5 years (60 months): invested ₹6.0 lakh. The calculator’s corpus will sit above that if the assumed rate compounds; the gap is “gain” in the illustration, not money in your bank today.
- 10 years (120 months): invested ₹12.0 lakh. Compounding has more room; the illustration’s gain is larger and more sensitive to the rate you typed.
Change the rate to 8% and 12% and write all three corpora. If the decision flips when the rate moves two points, you do not have a robust plan — you have a spreadsheet preference.
SIP vs loan prepay
If the same ₹10,000 is also an extra EMI, compare interest saved on the EMI calculator with the SIP illustration. Contractual loan interest is certain; SIP gain is not. See the longer EMI vs SIP guide.
Tax and GST are separate tools
Capital-gains tax on mutual-fund redemptions depends on holding period and the current Income-tax / Finance Act rules. The SIP calculator does not deduct tax. Invoice GST on a business expense that funded the SIP is a different problem — use the GST calculator for slab math only.
Disclaimer (not financial advice)
FlashKit calculators run reducing-balance EMI and compound-SIP arithmetic in your browser. They are planning aids, not a bank sanction letter, a GSTN filing, SEBI-registered investment advice, or a substitute for a chartered accountant. Actual EMI depends on processing fees, insurance, prepayment clauses, and the lender’s day-count. Mutual-fund returns are not guaranteed. Confirm numbers with your lender or advisor before you sign.
