IP geo lookup

Enter an IPv4 or IPv6 address. The tool queries a public geolocation API, so the IP you type is sent to that vendor. Accuracy is city-level at best and often wrong for VPNs and mobile CGNAT.

Use it for rough debugging (which POP is this customer hitting?), not for stalking or legal evidence.

How to Use

  1. Paste the IP (no port).
  2. Run lookup and read country, region, and ISP if the API returns them.
  3. Treat coordinates as a guess.
  4. For your own server, prefer provider dashboards over a free geo API.

Key Features

  • Quick geo / ISP snapshot
  • No FlashKit account
  • Third-party API — disclosed by the network notice
  • Pairs with domain-to-IP and CIDR tools

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see someone’s street address?

No, and you should not try. Geo IPs are coarse and often outdated.

Do you store lookup history?

FlashKit does not keep a lookup log. The geo vendor may.
