QR code generator

This generator encodes what you type into a static QR image. There is no FlashKit short URL behind the code, so we cannot change the destination later and we cannot disable scans. If you need to edit the landing page, point the QR at a URL you control.

Static codes are the right choice for printed menus, business cards, and packaging that must still work in five years. They are a poor choice if you want scan analytics or to swap the URL after print.

How to Use

  1. Enter the full URL (include https://) or the plain text you want encoded.
  2. The preview updates as you type. Test-scan it with your phone before you print.
  3. Download the PNG. For print, prefer a large download and keep quiet-zone padding around the code.
  4. Print a test copy. If the ink is low-contrast or the code is smaller than about 2 cm, increase the size.

Key Features

  • Static codes — no FlashKit account and no expiry timer
  • Works for URLs and arbitrary text
  • PNG download generated locally
  • Sister tool adds colors, logos, and SVG for URL-only codes

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these QR codes expire?

The image does not expire. If you encoded a URL, the code keeps working only while that URL still serves the page you expect.

Can I track scans?

Not through FlashKit. Use a URL you own (or a documented link shortener you trust) if you need click stats. We do not operate a redirect service.

Can I use this commercially?

Yes. The PNG is yours to print. You are responsible for the destination URL and for any third-party trademarks in the payload.

Why won’t my phone scan it?

Check contrast, size, and glare. Do not crop the quiet zone. Very long text payloads make denser codes that fail on cheap cameras.
