Open Graph debugger

Paste a public URL to read Open Graph and basic Twitter tags from the HTML. This is a first look, not Facebook’s official Sharing Debugger cache reset.

SPAs that only set tags in JavaScript after load will look empty here, the same way Google’s first-wave crawl can. Prerender those tags in HTML.

How to Use

  1. Enter the exact public URL you will share (watch trailing slashes and http vs https).
  2. Consent to the proxy fetch if asked.
  3. Confirm og:title, og:description, og:image (absolute HTTPS), and og:url.
  4. Fix missing images (1200×630 PNG/JPG). Then re-scrape in Facebook/LinkedIn’s official tools.

Key Features

  • Reads og:* and common Twitter tags
  • Shows what the raw HTML contains
  • No Facebook login
  • Honest about proxy fetching

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Facebook still show an old image?

Facebook caches OG images. After you fix the HTML, use Facebook’s debugger to “scrape again.” This page does not purge that cache.

Why are tags empty on my React app?

If tags are injected only after JavaScript, fetchers see the default index.html. Prerender or SSR the head.
