Cron expression generator
Pick minute, hour, day, month, and weekday values (including stars, lists, and steps). The page writes a classic five-field cron string used by crontab and many CI schedulers.
This is not Quartz (seconds/year) and not systemd OnCalendar. AWS EventBridge and Kubernetes cron jobs have their own dialects — verify in the target docs.
How to Use
- Choose how often the job should run (every N minutes, daily at 03:00, weekdays, etc.).
- Copy the five-field expression.
- Paste it into crontab or your platform’s cron field.
- Confirm timezone. Crontab uses the machine TZ unless you set one.
Key Features
- Visual fields plus the raw expression
- Human-readable summary
- Local only — we do not run your job
- Useful before you SSH into production
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this include a seconds field?
No. It is UNIX-style five fields. Jenkins/Quartz seconds are a different format.
Will FlashKit execute the cron?
No. We only generate the string.
